The Palmer Arms is a country pub and restaurant in the conservation village of Dorney.
We took over The Palmer Arms in February 2009 with an aim to serve serious, unpretentious food with great service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We are passionate about creating a welcoming environment whether you are out for a quiet drink, business lunch or dining with family and friends.
Our menus are based around classic British food and we change them regularly so we can offer the freshest seasonal ingredients. We offer a lighter lunch menu with a selection of hot and cold sandwiches and a more formal a la carte menu. On Sundays we have two traditional roast dinners to choose from, which vary through the year. Everything on our menu is freshly cooked to order.
The Palmer Favourites' menu is a selection of traditional pub meals, available any time of day and remains the same all year round. These meals are also offered as half portions for children. We are family friendly and have four young children ourselves. Our large garden is a great place to eat on a warm day and we have just added a children's play area.
Being a stand alone business we try, wherever possible, to support other local businesses and source local ingredients. An example being our Ice cream which is all homemade at Hitchams' Farm, just 2 miles away and our asparagus comes from Dorney Court Estate
We have created a bespoke wine list offering many wines by the glass and serve a variety of draught beers and real ales.
We are open every day of the year for food and drink and hope to see you soon,
